Paracetamol Aflofarm, oral suspension

Liquid form of Paracetamol with a strawberry flavor, created for the youngest patients (the suspension can be used in children from 3 months of age) and people who have trouble with swallowing tablets.

Paracetamol Aflofarm is recommended in cases of fever e.g. during colds and flu, as well as for low and moderate pains of various origins:     

• headaches;       
• toothaches;       
• teething pains;       
• pain following dental and surgical procedures; 
• muscle pains, osteoarticular pains.

Dosage and administration
Oral use   

Use the measuring cup provided in the package for dosing. It allows to measure the exact dose.

The dose is determined according to the child's weight (on average 10 to 15 mg/kg at once) or according to the following schedule.

Children:

• at the age from 3 months up to 12 months: 2,5 to 5 ml (60 to 120 mg of paracetamol)
• at the age from 1 to 6 years: 5 to 10 ml (120 to 240 mg of paracetamol)
• at the age from 6 to 12 years: 10 to 20 ml (240 to 480 mg of paracetamol).

The medicinal product should not be administered more frequently than every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses per day. Do not exceed the dose of 60 mg of paracetamol/kg/24 hours.

Use in children under 2 years of age should be prescribed by a doctor.

Do not administer to children more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

The medicinal product should not be used without consulting a doctor for longer than 10 days in case of pain ailments, 3 days in case of persistent fever and 2 days in case of cold symptoms.
