Aflofarm, in cooperation with the Medical University of Lodz and the Lodz Regional Pharmacy Chamber, provides training for pharmacists. "Pharmaceutical care for patients addicted to nicotine". The training conference will take place on 25th of November in the lecture room of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Lodz.The aim of the training is to provide pharmacists with detailed knowledge about pharmaceutical care for patients who report to pharmacies with the problem of nicotine addiction. During training the pharmacists will learn, among others. interactions of tobacco smoke with drugs, nicotine addiction health problems, and treatment for tobacco addiction.
"Although more and more people are deliberately abandoning their cigarettes, it is still a huge health problem for our society and the health care system. According to the Ministry of Health data, as many as 9 million people in Poland still smoke cigarettes and more than 50% of them want to break up with the addiction. Such people are looking for support, among others. In pharmacies, therefore providing professional pharmaceutical care is a key issue, "says prof. dr hab. n. farm Andrzej Stańczak - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Postgraduate Education, one of the lecturers and co-organizers of the conference.
The course will be completed with a test of knowledge of the participants, which will give you the chance to gain six hard-earned points.
